Looking ahead a couple of years ago, I realised that having spent the last 16 years bringing up my family, the last thing I wanted to do was go back to an office to work.
I decided that I would like the best of both worlds, working yet working with the things I love most - animals! This also allows me to look after my own 2 dogs and 6 cats and still run my daughter around when needed.
Over the years I have taken many dog training courses with The Institute of Modern Dog Trainers, such as The Perfect Puppy, Canine Body Language, a 4 day practical course, a 2 day instructor course, Canine rehabilitation and I also have a City and Guilds in Canine Care and Management.
I am also a qualified Canine First Aider.
I have been dog walking part time for a few years now, just a couple of hours a week.
Cats - I have 6 at home, and grew up with at least 1 in the house at all times. Over the years I have learnt to groom, administer medicine, recognise problems and I just love them.
I have shown my cats (think cat equivalent of crufts) which involves bathing, and grooming and a lot of poofing of fur!
My business is fully insured!
SERVICES
I offer the following services however I am always happy to tailor these to your specific requirements.
Dog Walking     £12.00 an hour
I will walk your dog for a full hour. The travel is additional to this time. I do like to walk dog's together if I can, it makes it more fun for the dog, but the first walk will always be alone so I can get to know your dog and match him/her with the best companions.
Cat Sitting in your own home £10.00 a visit for upto 3 cats. £12.00 for upto 5 cats. £15.00 for over 5 cats.
I can come in once a day, twice a day or only every other day according to the needs of your cats. I will feed them, change their water, clean their litter trays, administer medicine if needed, and just generally spend time with them to make sure they are ok. I will also water plants and pick up post etc.
Puppy Walking £10.00 for 30 minutes
I will work with your puppy on his/her loose lead walking skills. I can also expose them to difference sights and sounds to build up their confidence.
Puppy/Dog Sitting in your home  £10.00 for 30 minutes
For those times when you are out longer than you would normally be I can come in and let your puppy/dog out in the garden and give them some company.
Puppy Training before you have your puppy £30.00
Is this your first puppy or has it been a long time since you had a young dog. I can come round and go through everything you will need to have and need to know, from picking them up to those first few nights, and how to start toilet training them.
Puppy Training with your puppy £30.00 a visit
Puppy Training starts from the moment you get your new little one. I can help with those first important things like crate training, toilet training and how to get used to a lead.
